Perfectly Sliced - February 2022

No surprise here – we hit the ground running in the new year

January was a real roller coaster of excitement in the tech scene, and there’s no sign of things slowing down. The metaverse and NFT industries have been making headlines nonstop, along with blockchain and DeFi projects. We’re excited to be in the thick of things with our clients, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

So what’s in store for the PR industry as we stride further into 2022? I shared my predictions about trends in PR for the coming year with TechRound, including the challenges PR pros will face in winning over the general public to the new technologies that will have a massive, positive effect on their daily lives.

As always, we’re up to the challenges!

Our clients have been busy highlighting the relevance of technology and the good it can do for society. They’ve shared their insights on everything from making tech companies more ethical to improving consumer experiences when shopping online, as well as how companies can better manage the heaps of data out there. Here are some of the thought leadership pieces that have forged strong connections with global audiences.

Michael Huth, Chief Research Officer and Co-Founder of Xayn, discussed on Nasdaq how we can rethink product development and usage to make a tech company ethical, noting that technological innovation should not be stifled simply because of what “might” happen with those technologies decades later.

Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Artlist, Ira Belsky, explained on TechCrunch why small creators are big business, and he champions fair compensation for these creators and influencers who drive consumer traffic to online platforms.

In his article on Forbes, Duda’s CEO and Co-Founder, Itai Sadan addressed the important ways SaaS platforms can gain a competitive advantage in a busy marketplace, highlighting partnerships as the most effective solution for constructing new systems and technologies for revenue growth.

Co-Founder and Chairman of the IOTA Foundation, Dominik Schiener, discussed on Cointelegraph how going feeless is the only way to enable blockchain adoption. The quickest way to eliminate barriers to distributed ledger technology’s adoption is by offering a feeless alternative to blockchain.

Robert Jacobi, Director of WordPress at Cloudways, shared his insights on Hacker Noon regarding why people abandon online shopping carts, offering actionable tips for countering each potential point of failure along the user purchasing experience.

On DZone, Speedb CEO Adi Gelvan debunked four big misconceptions about metadata that can lead to a data engine nightmare if they are overlooked. If you think metadata is easy to manage, read this!
